Shredder Chess

I don't usually enjoy computer chess. I sometimes play at http://chesstempo.com/, and I use the Chess Free app for Android, but it's not something I usually enjoy. Still, I often want to play when there is no one around to play with, so I thought that I would look into other chess apps and games for the PC. I tried a couple with no success, and then I found Shredder Chess.

Shredder Chess is awesome. I like Shredder because it calculates your Elo rating after each game and will adjust the computer's playing strength to match it. It is very satisfying knowing to know one's Elo rating, I always wondered what my chess rating was so I was happy to find out (1167). I like knowing what my rating is because then I can try and beat the previous rating with each new game I play on Shredder.

Shredder plays chess in a more human-like way than other chess programs do. It mimics human playing styles. Playing against Shredder is more fun than playing against other programs.
